Raised as an army brat, Jill was born in Tokyo, Japan and attended high school in Germany. She is a veteran of film and television and received the Mary Jo Comedy Show Award in New York City for stand-up comedy. She has peformed her solo works at: Surf Reality, Dixon Place, Womankind Festival, Solo Arts, Hudson Guild, The Field and the New York Fringe Festival. Jill is a member of SAG. AFTRA, AEA and is also a member of the Dramatist Guild of America, Inc.
Prior to coming to New York, Jill received her Masters Degree from the University of South Carolina and was an artist-in-residence with the Metropolitan Arts Council with grants from the South Carolina Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
She has performed her solo play, "My Life In The Trenches," at various festivals and theaters. Her new solo play, "Lizzie Borden Live!" permiered at the East Lynn Theatre in Cape May, NJ 2007 for a five-week run.
Her television credits include Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent,Saturday Night Live, Another World, One Life To Live, All My Children and As The World Turns. Her film credits include: Wall Street and most recently Dancing With Shiva directed by Jonathan Demme, starring Anne Hathaway.
